Acapella...? Please stop

  1. No sense. Nonsense. Whatever you want to call it she's crazy. Before her man came into her life it was acapella now it's a symphony. I get that, it's sweet. But this video is basically her changing from costume to costume. The beginning with its strobing made me feel like I was going to have a seizure. I don't see her lover in the video. She goes from African tribe girl to a gold creature from Narnia or something. Once again WTF Kelis!

  2. Well, nice musical beats to this song but it’s not necessary to automatically think of Africa, wtf. And I get that Kelis may like all the seasons of the weather but can’t she PLEASE just stick to one! She’s looking real good floating in pitch-black space with snow flurries but then why the desert setting? I suggest putting those Alaskan dogs, the husky, in with the snow flurries, gosh. They can’t just sit around with you trying to act like a golden goddess with no snow to play in. THINK OF THE HUSKIES!... and your baby, too, she must be dying in that desert heat - child abuse!

  3. Sometimes I think people make it very apparent that they are heavy LSD users...What’s with all the changing of clothes and settings and seasons. The beginning she looks like she is crowning herself, Zina Warrior princess, and moves to the end of the video where she has made a makeshift sling the totes her baby in the blistering heat of the desert. I'd hate her if she was my mom...

  4. I do not know what Kelis is going through at this point in time of her life but from the looks of this video she needs psychiatric help. I do not think that the video fits the song at all. Throughout the entire video she changes her clothes and changes her terrain. What does any of these scenes have anything have to do with her lyrics? Kelis may be talking about Nas in this video, when she mentions, “Before you my life was an Acapella, and now it’s a symphony.” The reason why I say this is because they recently were divorced. I’m not sure of the reason why she thought this video would correlate to her song.

  5. The only thing I could think of during this music video was that she had wolves sitting on fur when she was in that gold room scene at (2:01). WOLVES SITTING ON FUR. Does nobody else see the irony in that. She must have every PETA organization out there trying to take her down. And if you're living your whole life acapella Kelis, then jhow are you able to get from a jungle setting to a desert setting? Explain that to me Kelis
